Telephone, email or send photographs by WhatsApp. We will tell you what the hedge needs, what it costs, and when it should be done.
Tell us about the hedge
The more you can tell us, the closer the figure. Rough length in metres or in fence panels, how tall it stands, what species you think it is, and when it was last cut. If you can attach nothing else, tell us the road and the postcode and we will look.

What happens next
- We read it the same day. Enquiries go to one inbox and one telephone, not a call centre.
- We work out what the hedge needs. Sometimes that is less than you asked for. We will say so.
- You get a figure. From photographs where we can, from a visit where the hedge is tall, awkward or badly overgrown.
- You get a date. And if you want, the next one after that. See HedgeCare.
We do not cold call, we do not pass details on, and we do not add anybody to a mailing list.
Three things worth knowing
- TimingAutumn is our busiest season and the right season for most heavy work. If your hedge needs reducing, ask in July rather than in October.
- Nesting seasonFrom roughly 1 March to 31 August we check every hedge for active nests and will reschedule rather than cut through one. See the Kent Hedge Standard.
- NeighboursIf the hedge sits on a boundary and needs working from the other side, it saves time if you have already asked. We can write to them if that is easier.
Would you rather just ring?
One number, answered by the people who do the work. Describe the hedge and we will tell you where to start.
